Stamped concrete, sometimes called patterned concrete, is an excellent choice for people in the Kansas City area that desire an upgrade from the normal grey concrete. Stamped concrete can take on the look of slate, stone, brick, granite, wood and many other materials for a fraction of the cost of the real thing. To achieve the pattern and texture, rubber mats are used in conjunction with release agents in order to form a three dimensional texture on the concrete. There are many different design and color options to choose from. (color and texture charts @ bottom of page).
The concrete is then sealed with high quality sealer to achieve a durable, protective finish. Remember it is important to periodically reseal your concrete in order to maintain its beauty.
